Welcome! Please look around my page and feel free to donate to my organization. I appreciate everyone’s help to give to kids that need a stuffed friend. I know you will feel as good as I do! |

This organization started as a thought by 8-year old Matt Fitzpatrick. His family had a long standing rule that any stuffed animal won at a carnival or concession game would be given to a young child nearby. One day, his dad won a stuffed teddy bear in a crane game at a local K-Mart. Matt wanted the stuffed bear, but his mom Laurie, an elementary school counselor in the Millard Public School District in Omaha, Nebraska told him she was collecting teddy bears for Teddy Bear Hollow, a local grief support center. Hearing of this, he said, “Mom, I am sure I have some extra stuffed bears they could have.” This led him to think...."What about other stuffed animals? Do they want those?" She told him that they only collected teddy bears. He thought about it and decided that kids in need would want any stuffed animal if they lost everything. This blossomed into his idea for the Matt's Pets 4 Kids. Click on this link to see the Donors. Matt thought he could collect new stuffed animals of any kind and donate them to local fire departments or other organizations to give to kids that have emergencies and need something to hug.
